About our program:
Spade Quarter Horses is a foundation based breeding operation concentrating on linebreeding Blackburn and Poco Bueno horses while keeping the foundation percentage as close to 100% as possible.
We sold our stallion Mr Blackburn 955 in 2005 but kept some of his quality daughters as brood mares. We also have a nice 100% foundation red dun son of Mr Blackburn 955 that is currently at stud and for sale.
We recently arranged to lease a grullo grandson of King Fritz for the 2008 breeding season. This stallion is 98% foundation bred with 7 crosses to Oklahoma Star.
